HISENSE will unveil @ CES 2016 its flagship XT910 4K ultra HD TV. While this certainly isn’t the first major 4K TV from the brand, the X910 rolls out the whole nine yards of top-shelf specs, with a 10-bit color display panel, HDR support, 4K resolution (obviously) full-array local dimming technology and assorted 4K UHD video services and apps baked right into its smart platform. In other words, the expectation for the XT910 is that it will be a genuine high end 4K TV of the same caliber as other flagship models put out by more famous brands.
Additionally, we’re expecting other display technology advancements from Hisense in the form of their new ULED screen lighting technology, which is supposed to deliver superior brightness and color rendering that almost matches the highly advanced Rec. 2020 standard. Most importantly of all, Hisense’s top shelf TV models are expected to arrive on shelves at prices which will worry more recognized brands. Maybe 2016 is the year in which Hisense pulls a Vizio-style 4K TV industry coup of gaining recognition for both quality and extremely low price tags.
