I called Ameritrade and asked if there was a specific pps the stock price needed to be if a company was going to up list from the OTC to the big boards. The tech that was helping me with the question could only find info. that stated that a company needed a certain amount of liquid assets to do this, not necessarily a certain pps.
After that conversation I used a stock screener and filtered out stocks only on the Dow, then the Nas etc. And much to my surprise I found the pps range to be all over the road. From $1.00ish all the way up. But if the company is strong enough financially to be on the big boards, then the pps should take care of itself.
Not too many of the big board stocks were in the one dollar range, the majority started in the $8.00 range, at least those that hit that radar.
I wasn't sure with it, that's why I called AMTD.....hopefully we get an up list soon and escape the gravitational pull of the mm's on the OTC.
