buybacks will cost the company money which could be used to invest in infrastructure. doing a RS, as unpleasant as that sounds, followed by a substantial and verifiable PR will bring new investors and get the PPS moving. my one caveat to any RS, would be a commitment by Joel to lock the SS for a period not less than 1 year.
