To clarify... As mentioned previously the best term which was stated was "hand to mouth". I think it is safe to say they didn't sugar coat anything and do have an optimistic attitude about getting a response soon from the FAA. But of course no promises. So for those that had issue with the term "shoe string", "hand to mouth" is what was said and a better expression. They are being fiscally responsible while waiting.
Papa made a very good speech at the end of the meeting, making an excellent point that continued investment to get us past this hump is the most effective way to protect our investment up until now.
