I gotta get up to speed on Space X. I've been an astro-nut since a kid, watching the Mercury 7 guys, then Apollo, but when Odummy pulled the plug on the Shuttle program I lost interest. I served in the MC with the current director of NASA, Charlie Bolden. He was one of our A6 Intruder pilots in Nam. He gave us a behind the scenes tour of the manned space flight center in Houston at a reunion we had while he was training for his last of 4 shuttle flights. Can you imagine being bad assed enough to FLY the brick 4 times. My claim to fame. I knew him when he was a Lieutenant. He made 3 stars before he retired. Helluva man. Google him. A great story.
