canning plant is in memphis (or nashville..cant remember but its one of those two cities). distributors that are close can drive there to pick up product. distributors that are further have to figure out a different way, via big truck or train as freight. all that adds to cost.
in dallas there is a warehouse where product is stored and distributors can go there for product. i'm not sure how it gets there but the distributor in dallas at the shareholder meeting explained that to me. in cities such as mine, st. louis, a warehouse does not exist.
