Slides on all aircraft are not guaranteed, there is no way to guarantee proper function, my opinion is the FAA needs to get over always expecting a 100% for slides or ground all planes and come with an alternative to slides.

Slides are bullshit but necessary for safety reasons but will never be 100%, the madness has to stop and move on to the ditching exercise then "Up,up and away we go"
