I don't find this strategy accurate. When such company's like Netflix hit a ranking of US 10,000, there were alot less Internet traffic than there is today. Back then rank 1 could have been around x number of visitors. In today's world with everyone online from tablets, tvs, computers, cell phones, and so many other platforms, rank 1 would require 100 times as many visitors, which in return would increase the number along the board.
