Given the current status and lack of information out there, I'm neither inclined nor disinclined to believe the "Notice of Proposed Denial". I want to believe it's fake, but I trust Robodog here and believe his correspondence with the FAA is factual, so I'm a bit torn. I try to look objectively at the situation and while Robodog's reply email is a bit discouraging, I can't help but notice two things that hopefully someone can clear up...
1. Has Monroe been sitting on these emails for 3 weeks? Seems like everything is timestamped for late November. Have we seen these emails before? Seems strange to sit on them.
2. Google "FAA Notice of Proposed Denial". Generally speaking, when you capitalize something like that, that means it's a term used on a regular basis within an organization. Something that characterizes exactly the situation. Am I the only one coming up empty on that google search with those words "Notice of Proposed Denial" not appearing in succession like that anywhere? I find that a bit hard to believe if this is a determination that they make at any point, or have a definition for that is referenced somewhere.
I don't know what to believe at the moment, but figured I'd share my observations.
