wash sales - example
note that the loss reported on 12/10 is a wash because the stock was rebought on 12/14 and is less than 30 days from the previous 12/10 sale
while the loss reported on 12/21/15 is not a wash because the stock was rebought on 1/27/16 and is greater than 30 days from the previous 12/21/15 sale
