I think most are missing the point!

I buy a drink for the contents of the can because of the taste and nutritional value and because I am thirsty. The initial attraction may come in many forms. The container design, not offense, is the first attraction as well as word of mouth and advertising.

People have different tastes and so the different can designs do come into play. Think the big picture. Drinks with cans designed to sell in different countries will sell more if the can is designed for that country
