If it is our plane. My take is it is simply a test flight that would be performed to ensure the A/C is ready for proving flights after the maintenance was performed. But part of me thinks there would be no reason to fly the plane after landing gear maintenance, that can be checked on the ground with the aircraft on jacks. Your guess is as good as mine...
