There is obviously no question that if you sell your shares after the record date, but , before the ex date , that you loose the new shares.
So, the question becomes.....do you attain shares of the new company if you buy shares after record date and before ex date ?
I am pretty sure you do not. The entity , 'buying' , the sold FITX shares would be the broker, who would then hold the shares and resell them to a buyer. The broker buys the sold shares on behalf of the company who would get the CNRX shares back because of the timing of the original sale.
People do not buy and sell between each other. There is a broker who represents the company filtering the sales and buys.
I think we will all know the truth of this very shortly. GLTA

In times when you feel low self esteem, disappointment and perhaps even depression.......keep in mind that it may simply be the result of the fact that you are surrounded by ass holes. GLTA
