I had a hold/margin call against my entire account, but it wasn't put on until 9/4 and by then I had already purchased additional shares and didn't have the dividend in my account. Whatever cash was there would only show on the balances page not under the cash available portion of my account and if I would sell any existing positions the cash from the sale would have been tied up and I wouldn't have been able to reinvest it, so I never sold anything.
