Re: SPEEDO #14454
All bottle water is filtered and ozonated!

I have worked for a bottled water Co. and Anheuser Busch for over 35 years.

Spring water is a Great marketing product but is still run through several processes. Because of the transport process though hoses and pipes into and out of stainless truck trailers, filtering is a must.

For keeping the original taste and mineral content of Spring water, the best process is just to use a sand based sediment pass through filter (these are fairly large; not like one used for home wells) and then final process right before bottling is to pass it through an OZONE filter which is used to kill any bacteria and impurities that might be in the water from natural occurrences or from transportation contact.

Distilled and other types of water are run through large carbon based filters, but doing this to Spring water will remove certain minerals and also alter the taste of Spring water,

Just my .02 on this subject.
