But the demons recognized Jesus and said to him, What have you to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I adjure you by God, do not torment me.” Jesus said to the demon, “What is your name?” He replied, “My name is SOD; for we are many.” They sought to be cast into a nearby herd of swine, but when they went the swine fled and drowned themselves in the sea.
