I bet you could get much more from him via a phone call. His emails are somewhat vague (as they have to be ) but I get some progress reports at times.

the Caveat is that I send him very complimentary emails which are always positive in nature. he will answer those.
The ones with the tough/critical questions -he doesnt answer so much
