You stated what I was going to say. Plus, when people pre-pay for items, the industry standard is that 25% does not get used. That is why merchants like to sell gift cards. If you sell 1000 gift cards at $100 each abuot 25% of the money will never get redeemed. That's about 25k in the bank, right off the top.
