I don't think NTEK is dumb enough to act on something without input from the shareholders, even if they might have a controlling voting margin, which I'm not totally sure they do.

That would probably suicide for them. Shareholders are what keeps this company running at this point, so don't underestimate the influence you have as a shareholder.....
