If you read the article in detail it has nothing to do with Kevetrin. It is another drug that is still in Phase 1 trials.
I remember some time ago there was discussion of MDAnderson doing a Kevetrin trial. There was speculation why they refused. This could be it. They didn't want to do trials on competing drugs
