I'm not sure, but 10K would seem like a good range. From my understanding there was no T.V. coverage for it. Only people in person would've seen some tiny logo on his shorts and maybe some logos around the building. Hopefully they passed out drinks.
But since it's not on T.V., it's hard to imagine 10K would be the most effective way to spread the word. He's not even a big fighter.
A free case could cost the company $10? That's 1000 people you could send cases to. Imagine if those 1000 people had 2-3K users. We're talking 30K people seeing Rocky Mountain Highs. How many people sat in that stadium?
If people were watching a stream, they would also see the person drinking it and talking about how good it is. They SEE the product. That's some guerilla marketing right there.
