I don't ever remember seeing a Netflix TV commercial even before streaming became popular. They got where they are with social media and word of mouth. Now I am not saying marketing is a waste of time just the free marketing that Sony, Samsung, Vizio and the BB are doing right now is much more effective and FREE. FREE marketing for a cash strapped young company cannot be beat.

Nope, never saw a TV commercial for Tesla or Netflix and look where they are today. Netflix better look out however because UF is coming up fast.
