Proving Flights BLTA-DOT/Documents: Costs Offset By Cargo Income(Profits)
While we wait for imminent BLTA Mini Evac Pass, Proving Flights, Certification, Inaugural Launch and Revenue Geration:
Four items of pertinence and interest:
1.) This Official Document between Baltia Air Lines and U.S. Department of Transportation is dated 2008. So, some details and numbers have obviously changed.
2.) BLTA Proving Flight Costs will not only be offset, but (Cargo) will generate a small Profit for BLTA.
3.) Estimates based on 100 Hours of Proving Flights. FAA might reduce number of Hours required, thus reducing Costs further.
4.) Overwhelmingly, by more than 85%, Baltia's largest costs are fuel costs. Current fuel costs have reduced dramatically since these projections. So BLTA Actual Proving Costs reduced even further.
