I really think "they" are having much and much less affect in controlling the price. I have seen patterns of large volume areas of accumulation, the MMs try to make it look like selling. probably too keep it at a level, for a large buyer or several buyers. The 100 share sells are not working as good. All in my honest opinion of course.
