The federal government allows the CBD and hemp seed extract containing products to be manufactured and sold without special restrictions as far as I know. I believe they have since around the mid-1990's. Growing hemp in the states has been agin the law, but that's finally coming around, starting with North Carolina where it just became legal to grow.
