I have never confirmed what I am about to say - - - - but I believe it
to be true that the mining site "claims" have to be renewed annually.
If true, would not the records :
(1) Be publicly available, online one would hope ?
.......... and
(2) Give the address, or, longitude and latitude , or , give the GPS
coordinates of the mine site being claimed ?
Seems likely but I have no expertise on this; and, since I am never
driving to Nevada ( or where anywhere more than 200 miles west
of Boston ) I see no reason to determine the actual mine-site.
