From a shareholder's point of view, the important part is over. Once 90 days has passed, DTCC cannot undo the dividend. Therefore, the dividend is safe for the shareholders.
COR can choose to continue forth with Signature, and possibly go after DTCC in the future, but the shareholders can rest knowing the dividend is not going to be reversed.
