I would change the "over a month has gone by since the funds were received" for "almost three months have gone by since the funds were received".
I don't like the "COR makes an argument that share purchases after the record date are non dividend eligible. Should the court conclude this to be the case". This in not for the court to decide. ALL shares in the market previous to the effective ex-date (8/19/2015), meaning 8/18/2015, are eligible for the divi. That's a SEC rule.
