A big part of the problem with the "just fail us and reschedule" possibility, is that it leaves us vulnerable to fate. The fact is, there is a certain percentage of slides that will fail. Statistical probability says, on one of these tries, they will all work. What if that is the time that one person takes 2 seconds too long to do some other task. Some times when you roll the dice, you hit a streak. Whether good streak or bad streak, it cost too much to play dice with the slides. Baltia management is banking on the notion, that the FAA CANNOT support rolling the dice as a protocol for airline safety demonstrations.
