Vizio D Series in 4k for holiday season 2015. So, if you follow Black Friday TV sales/deals you would probably know about the Vizio D series. This model is generally only available during the holiday shopping season and is usually identical to the E-series. It's often a model that is heavily discounted in Wal-Mart doorbusters. The great news here is that it's in 4k. With everything to date having been only 1080p for the E-series this is a bit of a surprise. I don't know that we can expect any role out of the E-series as being all 4k, but that would certainly be a boon for us, as the E-series is the ultimate signal that 4k is officially mainstream.
