You obviously have no experience in the aircraft industry, working with the FAA or ever being involved with aircraft certification of any civilian or military aircraft. In my 35 years of experience in the field of aircraft design, flight testing and aircraft certification I have seen many unexpected delays. The one that we are now experiencing seems longer than is usually expected but I'm sure the underlining reasons will soon become evident. I wouldn't be surprised if one of our high level political representatives begins to take notice and asks the FAA to move forward so that hundreds of New York and Michigan jobs can be created.

If you have the professional experience to decide why this test should be a failure than you probably have far more experience and credentials than mine. You might want to apply for a career with the FAA in the airline or aircraft certification office.
