The Bratwurst skin dissolves when cooked
that way and the meat falls into chunks in the pot.
Murphy loves sauerkraut.
He (they) got only so much so they can digest it ok.
They loved all of the dish. Potatoes in there too.
Cooked in a 3 gallon pot for three hours. 1/2 full.
Delicious.
My grandson liked it the most after me.
We sat side by side heads down bent over our bowls .-)
(Just like they do in the mountains of South Carolina)
It was my birthday dis and my grandson so wife didn't say anything.
She has this thing about being polite even if not proper..
