COR is required by regulators to have the needed safeguards, controls, due process, and validations to prevent these kinds of problems.
Why did DTCC drafted the missing part of the divi from COR and not CRGP, or at least stopped the payment until everything was resolved? Because it was a COR responsibility.
If COR didn't do their job, beside their loses, they have to pay fines to regulators. Damages to shareholders (halt and greys) should also be included.

Always, always do you own DD. Only invest funds you can afford to lose and trust nobody but yourself.
