Baltia Air Lines Just to clarify, this is NOT an appeal but a request for special consideration in lieu of conducting another test.
That's what it was said and I agreed. There was never an appeal in place. When mini #7 took place, the inspectors saw something and agreed that it should recommend a pass. Paperwork was send to DC two weeks later, and 2 1/2 months later, they are still being reviewed by FAA.
This whole letter from Igor on Facebook confirms what I have been saying all along...FAA has gotten together with the supplier and requested testing, and the analytical results showed a lot of problems. How to solve it is really in the hands of FAA, and how to let Baltia go forward depends on FAA's actions. At this time, it looks very favorable to Baltia.
My experience with FAA and aviation has showed it's true colors after that letter this morning confirming that I have been right in many cases explaining how the process are being done.
We'll get the results soon...how soon...no idea.
