So true. There are an awful lot of people who have no idea what they're investing in, and what a reasonable period of time for a clinical trial is.

When you see all those ambulance-chaser ads on TV, trying to solicit people who have taken certain drugs to sue the manufacturer, it's a reminder of what a horribly flawed system we had. The FDA approves stuff that should never make it through the process, and then refuses to approve stuff that is desperately needed, safe and effective for certain groups of people. Sometime it's can be a political process as much or more than a scientific one. Sickening.
