$40 million is the valuation of a possible cure for cancer. Likewise, 40 million each for an entirely new class of antibiotics (the first since 1987), and a possible treatment/cure for psoriasis, and a possible treatment for the terrible mouth and throat sores that afflict chemotherapy patients.
Market cap of CTIX this morning is 157.76 million. 4 clinical trials for 3 drugs, for 4 completely different applications.
Meanwhile, companies with one drug that isn't anywhere as far along in clinical trials as CTIX is with its newest drug trials are valued absurdly higher. Look at AXON, with its market cap of 1.2 Billion. Their entire "company" has intellectual property consisting of a failed Alzheimer's drug, using the same mechanism of action as other failed Alzheimer's drug -- and hasn't even started a clinical trial. To be fair, their market value has declined from approximately 3 Billion at the IPO -- but this shows you how ludicrous the valuation of CTIX is here.
I'm probably going to buy more today.
