The people that I know who have gotten pancreatic cancer didn't last more than a few months, so 2 months is quite an improvement. Terrible disease, and particularly devastating because it usually isn't diagnosed until Stage 4 -- and then people have very little time left.
I am hopeful that Kevetrin can change that.
There are other companies developing drugs specifically aimed at pancreatic cancer, and they look promising. To me one of the best things would be if a truly effective artificial pancreas could be developed (equivalent of a kidney dialysis machine) so that the whole thing could be removed before metastasis.
I hope we are all decent enough people to rejoice in the idea that some other company may have a good treatment for pancreatic cancer soon. It would take quite a while for even a terrifically effective Kevetrin protocol to be studied and approved, so any stopgap treatments (or better yet, curative treatments) can save many lives.
