There is no patiented hardware. For the Roku (and all other applicable platforms) we are using proprietary software to stream. This is a good thing, because it means that UF can stream just as well on all platforms that can handle the Ultraflix app.

The revenue brought in by making hardware will easily be beat out by making UF accessible on as many platforms as possible.

That being said, the new Roku is a great device with more than enough resources to run UF.
