What we will never know is if AMBS had a willing partner to help finance AMBS but AMBS said no due to Gerald's arrogance that he'd be able to move ahead with toxic financing. How well did that work out? Obviously not that well because it looks like AMBS has gotten bit by the toxic financing zombie and looks to turn into a worthless empty zombie itself.
