As I have mentioned many times on this issue, I don't see the benefit to the current company and share holders to go forward with redeeming the certs as Peter had envisioned. Yes, it is a bummer for us longs who held on for all those months while Peter completely trashed the stock through dilution. We held thinking that we were going to get this great reward. However, we should have been smart enough to realize that Peter's grand plan to come up with the cash necessary to payout the certs was never coming to fruition. As it turned out, we held onto a bankrupt company.
Then, along comes DSUS to add some value to our shares. DSUS has a product a plan and a market that all point to growth and equity. It is their plan and products that have finally put value on our old PVEC shares, not the other way around. As such, why should the DSUS BOD and all their share holders reward us for hanging onto a dead company?
No, there never was a benefit for them to do so. And, clearly, there are so many issues with the certs, from inconsistent content on the certs and inconsistent delivery (I, like many others, have still not received any) to the impossible terms Peter was promising verbally but not in writing.
I have always said, in order for the certs to be executable, there will need to be a win-win situation, not a gift to bag holders of a previous company. Yes, I wouldn't complain about getting a check for holding PVEC shares to the bitter end, but, that sort of activity shouldn't be rewarded, it should be scolded.
JMHO.
