Seven is right, there is no limit. The problem with naked shorting is this, demand for the stock really doesn't affect them. When you short legally you are betting that the stock will drop and a squeeze is created if the price increases and shows signs of increasing for a long period of time. They panic and buy whatever is available to cover their short sell and this causes the pps to skyrocket. Naked shorts are a different animal, they theoretically never have to cover.
