Besides advancing ESS their first immediate goal has to be listing on NASDAQ. There simply is no other choice based on the share structures and current stock price. Since most investors have lost faith, the only thing that counts to spur the increase in stock price is one or a combination of revenue, sale of assets or non dilutive financing.
Reminder, in order to get listed on NASDAQ the shareholders equity has to increase to $5 mil, market valve has to increase to $15 mil, and price has to be above $4.
That tells me they can't afford to wait around to get the best value for DX but take the best available offer on the table now.
