I hate to agree with you, but you are probably right. Sometimes personality and charisma will make a company, or at least boost a shareholder's confidence.

An activist investor/hedge fund is what we need at the moment. I think any new face would make this stock skyrocket. At least someone who is not a cousin or family member.

Companies like this are hard to manage. To many emotions get in the way of good business sense when family is involved.
