If a receiver is appointed and reverses the dividend, brokers will be on the hook for millions of dollars. Imagine the broker that CRGP and its affiliates used.... The DTCC would pull the money from the broker who would then issue a margin call to these affiliates for MILLIONS and then would be forced to eat the loss. I think in the next few days we will see the brokerage firms stepping to the plate to try and block the appointment of a receiver.
