you guys are making me laugh by using the analogy of a bank robbery. that is not a good analogy. cor was stiffed...not robbed. they were the lender, essentially for a portion of the divy (those shares that cleared through them dumped by nobilis and beaufort). so, now, they have to recover the amount that crgp is indebted to them for. that is not robbery. the dtcc did nothing wrong by debiting cor's account for the divy payment. this suit is not against the dtcc. this suit is against cor. you guys are trying too hard to connect dots that are not connectable for the purpose of this lawsuit. cor did not sue the dtcc. a judge cannot force the dtcc to unwind a divy when they are not a party to this legal complaint. that would be improper of the court. if cor wishes to take dtcc to court, then they should have sued them AND crgp. that is not what happened.
