I have had a lot of talks with guys in the Video industry lately, and it has been very interesting where "they" think 4k is and how everyone is gearing up with hardware encoders & software encoders and what they can do.....Bottom line is that 25 megs is where they start seeing degradation to the video that is noticeable to the eye, and to probes...... right now on contribution & distribution feeds for Broadcasters (Hardware encoders) are using a quad mux, which uses 4 x 1080P encodes to delivery a 4k signal out the other end, boy are we in the right place at the right time!!! you'll might have known this already, but if I'm redundant I apologize, just excited!!!
