It's ridiculous. I watched matching trades today buys followed by equal sells. There was zero reported dark pool activity today so I it was probably all naked short selling.
One thing to keep in mind, the short volume also includes closing out a position. However, that doesn't or very rarely applies to NTEK.
As for the prime brokers, hedge funds and the dtcc, this isn't their first rodeo; they ain't sweatin' it. However, at the end of the day as NTEK continues to produce and build a consistently growing, audited revenue stream they won't be able to continue to deny it either. It simply will require additional patience and hard work from they guys at NTEK to get those damn apps up and running.
