On top of breaking SEC and market rules, how would they be able to distinguish shares converted by Nobilis from shares from other conversions or emissions?
Shares change hands everyday and each shareholder ends with a mingle of shares from different sources that look the same. Add legal shorts where the MM provides a nonexistent share to a shareholder and later gets a real one to cancel the sold one in the MM account.
Add illegal shorts. Add fraudulent conversions.
Desperate moves?
