Fake shares? My take in all this with all the information circulated the last days.
Notes were converted and outstanding share count went up. These came from the GIM and Minera Rio Cobre Notes.
Dilution as usual but it appears that CRGP didn't authorize the conversion of those notes, at least, not all of them. On top of that, those note holders maybe weren't note holders at all, the notes was fake.
Why was this done? 1 - $$$ of dumping those shares into the market 2 - They kept the shares to get a chunk of the company. Maybe not control, but easily above 50% of shares to get divis and $$$ in a buyout. 3 - Cover naked shorts.
This could also explain CRGP's urgency to merge with Milagros to protect assets, also the halt, the quiet period, and more.
Now what? Now we wait until this mess and/or scam is sorted out.
