Heppy, I decided to come out of my self imposed exile to commend you on this post. It gave me a moment to reflect on my own personal journey in life, battle with throat cancer and successful outcome, despite disagreements/fights with my doctors as to treatment (I declined treatment that involved removing my ability to speak or eat for life). I reflect on that miracle in my life which led to me now having a 6 year old boy and 2 year old baby girl in my life.
So thank you for putting that out there (here), allowing me to put aside my frustrating in my inability to control this situation and realize what really are the important things in life.
